Any small business owner knows that the starting up period is one of the most stressful and difficult times in your life.

Here we go again......

Most of you know I ran a Florida based photography business for over 10 years. This move to California is something I really wanted so it was worth it to me to shut the doors. I came out determined not to start my business over. I am 40 years old and it takes years to establish that client base . Shoot it takes even longer to GOOGLE to realize you have even moved!

However, working for other companies would not pay as well as running my own business. So I have officially Launched Jenny Puranen Photography as an Oak Park, California based Photographer

I restarted over my Google Business Page, changed up the website and opened 2 brand new Instagram accounts (My High School Senior and Family Photos are 2 different styles)

I kicked off this grand opening with Family Mini Sessions for the Holidays. I advertised in my little town of Oak Park and shot the photographs at Point Dume in Malibu, California

I can honestly say this has been an amazing experience not only are my families picture perfect, the location is breath taking and being there at sunset never is anything less than Moving

The families here are the sweetest people and genuinely want to see me grow my business. After all word of mouth is your best advertisement.
